MEGADETH RULES {part one of many}
Question..... Is there a band out there that seems to be just perfect for your own taste in songs/music. A band that impresses you so much that you want to listen to them every chance you get, and you never get bored. A band that every time you buy a new cd you say to yourself, "fuck yeah" . Well luckily enough, i have that above band in my life and i'm addicted. Megadeth to me are everything i like in music and more, their songs are everything from heavy metal to slow balads, and dave mustaines song writting abilitys are unmatched in the genre.

Megadeths background is rocky and has continued to change it's line up over the years. Dave mustaine IS megadeth and is the songwriter. He began his career as the lead guitarist in metallica and wrote some of their early songs off kill em all and a couple off ride the lightning, until he was kicked out for alchohol and drug issues by lars and james. Angered by the sacking, he vowed to form his own band and Megadeth was born. Their first albulm i beleive was too thrashy and dave has been quoted as saying he wanted the songs to be faster then metallica, Hence the thrasiness of most the songs. But when he decided to slow things down the true song writing ability took shape. Over the years his albulms have evolved, he's taken risks, and not everyone apreciates the corners he has turned, but to me every albulm tells a story, and every song has something to offer, whether it be heavy riffs or melodic guitar, whether it be great lyrics or catchy drum beats, i can find greatness is every song he has written. The band members have come and gone but dave is the vital ingrediant and with the release of a new albulm this year ,things keep getting better and better.
I was lucky enough to see megadeth in october and it will go down as the best concert i have ever seen. Every song they played was my favorite and i'm stoked that they will be coming back in 2007.
